Summer Staffing
During the summer months Saunders Farm opens its gates to families and groups.  Saunders Farm has the largest collection of hedge mazes in North America and guests are invited to ‘get lost’ in our mazes, play on our play structures and cool off in our splash pad. 

For the Summer Maze Season Saunders Farm is open:
June 6th – June 21st (weekends only)
June 26th – September 1st (10am-5pm everyday)
We are also open Canada Day and the Civic Holiday in August

Brief Job Descriptions and Job Requirements:

Farm Shop/Admissions
Guests to the farm in the summer enter through the Farm Shop.  Farm Shop staff are responsible for greeting guests and selling them admission to the farm.  They handle all group admissions including invoicing and payment.  They also work closely with our Farm Shop Diva, Brenda to display and sell the farm shop merchandise.    

Maze Masters
Saunders Farm Maze Masters are experts in maze mythology and help our guests explore the 11 mazes found on our farm.   They also perform a daily puppet show for guests along with general supervision of guests in all areas of the farm. 

Food Service
Saunders Farm has two food venues running in the summer time and staff are responsible for the preparation and service of food to our guests. 

Group Tour Guides
During our summer months many summer camps and day care groups visit the farm to enjoy our mazes and spray zone.  Group guides are responsible for greeting groups and supervising them during their visit. 

Birthday Party Host/Hostess
Our summer Birthday Party packages are themed around different areas of the farm.  Hosts/Hostesses are in costume and are responsible for entertaining the birthday group for one hour of their visit which includes a themed activity and a meal. 

Tractor Drivers
During our summer months we offer a daily wagon ride to our guests and group visitors.  Tractor drivers take groups on a short tour of the farm.  Hours would vary depending on the number of groups booked that day. 

Job Requirements:
Must be at least 14 years of age*
Must be available to work weekends during the summer
Must be available to attend all required trainings
Must have own transportation to and from the farm (Saunders Farm is NOT on a bus route)

*Tractor Drivers must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Ontario Drivers License.
