Award-winning Saunders Farm is 100 acres of FUN in Munster, located just 30 minutes southwest of downtown Ottawa - only 15 minutes from Kanata. Historic log buildings, set amongst beautiful landscaped gardens, create a tranquil and unique atmosphere to get away, have fun, and grow. We have proven that the land helps grow not only crops, but also fertile minds. At Saunders Farm we provide activities that utilize the Farm’s natural beauty to help your team to play, learn and grow. Our activities encourage creative thinking, develop and improve team communication, build trust and rediscover fun.

Our Permanent Indoor Seating Facilities Include:
The Log Barn: a beautifully restored 150-year-old log building, with stone fireplaces and a cozy atmosphere. It seats up to 95 persons on the main level and 90 persons on the second floor. Hand-crafted cedar tables and chairs or rectangular tables and folding chairs are included.
The Pavilion: a large timber-frame structure overlooking our beautiful landscaped hillside and ponds. It seats up to 240 persons. Rectangular tables and folding chairs are included.
The Saunders Farm Maze Challenge
Get lost, be found! This teambuilding fun will have you going in circles, squares and even on stage. With added puzzle elements, our award-winning Mazes will bewilder and most certainly entertain. This new team challenge utilizes the Farm’s incredible growing hedge mazes as well as our unique structures and landscape. You can also stand on top of our new 3-story observation tower to encourage and deceive your teams.
New in 2004
Canada’s Newest Maze: The Canadian Experience Maze- developed in 2003. This beautiful, creative and outstanding Maze has been formed using natural materials of rocks, plants, trees and water. More than 3000 cubic meters of earth has been moved to create a completely new landscape. The Canadian Experience Maze covers more than 23,000 square feet, (3000 square meters), with more than 100 large boulders, hundreds of trees, natural indigenous plants, bridges and waterfalls. Mr. Fisher has designed and developed this newest maze to compliment our own natural Canadian surroundings
Other activities included in the Saunders Farm Retreat Experience include:
Wagon rides, Beach Volleyball, Tug-of-War and Three-Legged, Frisbee/Ultimate, Sack Races, Lawn Games (Croquet and Bocce), and Horseshoes.
