A Retreat to Play, Learn and Grow at Saunders Farm
Award-winning Saunders Farm is 100 acres of FUN in Munster, located just 30 minutes southwest of downtown Ottawa - only 15 minutes from Kanata. Historic log buildings, set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, create a tranquil and unique atmosphere to get away, have fun, and grow.  Minimum charge is for a group of 20 participants. We can accomodate smaller groups but you will be charged for 20.

Our activit ies encourage creative thinking, develop and improve team communication, build trust and rediscover fun. Our experience in hosting events is well-established and recognized by large international companies, smaller locally-owned companies, government departments and associations.

Farmer’s Olympics: Think you’re outstanding in your field? Try being OUT STANDING ….in OUR FIELD! Roll up your sleeves, and get good old fashioned farm-dirty! Compete to bring home the GOLDEN ONION with your team in this hilarious team building circuit! Play against your colleagues in such challenging Farmer’s Olympic events as: The Great Jell-o toss, The Mighty Pumpkin Seed Spit, the Amazing Shave and many more-if you can stop laughing for long enough, that is! *** *** This adventure involves lots of fresh air and walking. You will be doing fun and silly things however, it is not considered physically strenuous.

AMAZE-ING Team Building Adventure: In this set of outdoor adventures your team can partake in our Saunders Farm Treasure hunt, our Cedar Maze Challenge and other homegrown classic team building games. ***This package can be easily customised to adapt to any level of physical activity. If you have a short time to fill, or team members wish not to or are unable to participate in much physical activity, we have a huge cache of team building games to draw from to fit your needs perfectly!

Facilitated built-in Farm Fun:
Wagon rides, Beach Volleyball, Soccer, Tug-of-War and Three-Legged, Frisbee/Ultimate, Sack Races, Lawn Games (Croquet and Bocce), and Horseshoes.

We provide great value with our vast green spaces, ample free parking, and abundance of activities, farm fresh foods and privacy. All you have to do is show up!

Meeting Facilities:

The Log Barn: a beautifully restored 150-year-old log building, with stone fireplaces and a cozy atmosphere. Hand-crafted cedar tables and chairs or rectangular tables and folding chairs are included. Capacity 90 persons.

The Pavilion: a large timber-frame structure overlooking our beautiful landscaped hillside and ponds. Rectangular tables and folding chairs included. Capacity 250 persons with additional seating on the porch for 60 more persons.

Choose between a Full or a Half day retreat. Minimum group sizes apply.

Our packages are perfect for companies, government groups, associations and groups of all kinds.
